I hope you’re all doing fine and you’re ready to read our second flash blog, blogs where we love to talk about things, products, brands, people we discover and that are so amazing that we need to write about it on the go!
This is exactly what happened to me last week while discovering Ouate Paris, a new yet conscious and natural Kids skincare.
Indeed, scrolling on my Instagram like everyday, I discovered Ouate Paris account, and it immediately caught my eyes :
- The branding illustrations and pastel tones where really kids friendly and trendy;
- The bio was mentioning a natural, vegan, conscious skincare with routine for kids.
Couple of days after I went to their pop up store in Beaugrenelle Mall (15th arrondissement), –let’s mention here the beautiful decor set up by the brand and the well thinked storages which perfectly highlight their products-, where I have been warmly welcomed and lots of my question have found answers.
Long story short I had the opportunity to meet the brand founder, Astrid Mauduit, an engineer and mother to four daughters herself.
Meeting her was so amazing it led me to write a blog post about Ouate Paris, in addition with the fact that as you know I seek very carefully the brands I use for the twins.
Speaking of the brand itself, the first very important point to me is that products have been thought for girls AND boys, aged 4 to 11!
4 to 11 you guys! Have you ever found a brand (other that the ones you can buy at your local pharmacy and even those ones are not especially made for kids) that takes care of your kiddos’ skin from post baby – toddler to pre teen ?
Not only does Ouate Paris offers 97% natural, dermatologically tested, vegan products, but your kids will find products to take care of their skin THEMSELVES.
You know if you follow our adventures how much we love autonomy and anything Montessori inspired aka letting your kids take care consciously of themselves.
As an engineer herself, Astrid Mauduit, founder of the brand, worked really seriously on the products packaging, who have been tested by children and then built by specialists to make sure the kids would be able to them on their own.
We had the chance to test the 4-6 y/o range, which might come in a box including cleanse water, coton and face cream, lovely called « ma potion à bisou » which might be translated as « my kiss potion » which I totally understand seeing how soft my kids skin is after using it!
Guys, this brand is teaching your kids how to take care of themselves, in a moment in their life where Mom and Dad are not treating them like babies anymore!
Your kids will be so proud of themselves while doing their routine (all products lasts 24h so integrating the routine through the bedtime routine might be the best option, -we chose this-), and will also learn the importance of taking care of their skin.
In addition to this routine, you have to try the whipped cream shower product.
The packaging is the funniest imaginable as it comes in a blue whipped cream bottle, and comes out as almost eatable as the real whipped cream itself which my twins found very funny.
You can use it as shower gel and for their hair, once again they might want to do it themselves ;).
Speaking of the box we tried, and the products I myself tried in the Pop up store, all smells are really light, with a white flower base, so really gentle for kids.
The textures have also been thought to be different as the kids getting older, which is really nice as my twins for example dont like sticky or smelly skincare products.
As you have read those lines you sure understood I will totally recommend Ouate Paris, from its very great products to the packaging and among all the spirit on which their founder built her brand : making essential to take care of the kids’ skin.

J’espère que vous allez bien et que vous êtes prêt à lire notre deuxième blog flash, des blogs où comme vous le savez désormais nous aimons parler de produits, de marques, de personnes que nous découvrons et qui sont si incroyables qu’il nous faut écrire à ce sujet sur le champ!
C’est exactement ce qui m’est arrivé la semaine dernière en découvrant Ouate Paris, une nouvelle marque de soins pour enfants, naturelle à 97% et respectueuse de l’environnement.
En effet, en parcourant mon compte Instagram comme tous les jours, j’ai découvert le compte Ouate Paris, et il a tout de suite attiré mon intérêt, notamment grâce aux illustrations de la marque et les tons pastel, sympathiques, actuels et recherchés.
Quelques jours après, je me suis rendue dans leur pop-up store du centre commercial Beaugrenelle (15ème arrondissement), –il faut mentionner le beau décor mis en place par la marque, très bien pensé et mettant parfaitement en valeur leurs produits-, où j’ai été chaleureusement accueillie.
Par suite, j’ai eu l’opportunité de rencontrer la fondatrice de la marque, Astrid Mauduit, une ingénieur et mère de quatre filles, qui a eut à coeur de créer une marque respectueuse de la peau des enfants, avec le souhait de placer l’enfant lui même au coeur de sa routine de soins, à un âge où l’on pourrait penser les soins enfants relégués au second plan : les 4-11 ans.
La rencontrer a été tellement enrichissant que cela m’a amené à écrire un article sur Ouate Paris sur le blog. En outre, comme vous le savez, je suis très attentive aux marques que j’utilise pour les jumeaux, surtout pour leurs peaux.
Pour parler de la marque en elle-même, le premier point très important pour moi est que les produits ont été pensés pour les filles ET les garçons !
Avez-vous déjà trouvé une marque (autres que celles que vous pouvez acheter dans votre pharmacie et même celles-ci ne sont d’ailleurs pas spécialement conçues pour les enfants) qui prend soin de la peau de votre enfant depuis l’enfance, jusqu’à la pré-adolescence?
Ouate Paris propose des produits naturels, que vos enfants pourront utiliser EUX-MÊMES.
Vous savez, si vous suivez nos aventures, à quel point nous aimons l’autonomie et tout ce que Montessori a inspiré, soit laisser vos enfants apprendre par eux-mêmes.
C’est pourquoi nous avons particulièrement apprécié Ouate Paris car Astrid Mauduit a conçu avec grand soin les packaging des produits de sa marque : ils ont été testés par des enfants, puis élaborés avec le concours notamment d’ergothérapeutes.
Nous concernant, nous avons eu la chance de tester la gamme 4-6 ans, qui peut être achetée dans une box contenant de l’eau micellaire, du coton, ainsi qu’une crème hydratante visage savamment nommée « ma potion à bisou », ce qui fait totalement sens après son application tant la peau des enfants est douce!
C’est pour nous une évidence : Ouate Paris apprend à vos enfants à prendre soin d’eux-mêmes, à un moment de leur vie où maman et papa ne les traitent plus comme des bébés!
Vos enfants seront tellement fiers d’eux-mêmes tout en faisant leur routine (tous les produits durent 24h, alors intégrer la routine soin à la routine du coucher pourrait être la meilleure option, nous l’avons choisi); ils apprendront également l’importance de prendre soin de leur peau. .
En plus de cette routine, vous devez ABSOLUMENT essayer la Chantilly!
L’emballage est le plus drôle qui soit, car il est présenté dans une bouteille de crème chantilly bleue et on en mangerait tant la texture est folle! Autant vous dire que les jumeaux ont adoré :).
Vous pouvez l’utiliser comme gel douche et pour leurs cheveux, encore une fois, ils voudront peut-être le faire eux-mêmes ;).
En parlant de la box que nous avons essayé et des produits que j’ai moi-même essayé dans la boutique éphémère, toutes les odeurs sont très légères, avec une base de fleurs blanches, vraiment très doux pour les enfants.
Les textures ont également été pensés avec soins : elles sont différentes au fur et à mesure que les enfants grandissent, ce qui est vraiment agréable, car mes jumeaux, par exemple, n’aiment pas les produits de soin collants, huileux ou malodorants (trop forts en parfum).
En lisant ces lignes vous avez bien compris que je vous recommanderai Ouate Paris, de ses très bons produits à ses packaging, en passant par tout l’esprit sur lequel sa fondatrice a construit sa marque: l’essentiel est de prendre soin de la peau des enfants.

I’ve never heard of this brand, but it sounds great! My boys love to do things on their own, and it’s a great way to get them started with good routines.

I think it’s really interesting that you were able to meet the founder and support a start-up company. The products remind me of an at home spa-like treatment for kids but one I would be willing to try for myself.

Yes I feel very lucky! I’ve been able to understand the whole mind of the brand which is amazing. It totally is a kind of spa 🙂 for kiddos haha 🙂 I wouldnt mind the Whipped cream though 😉

I will have to show this to my daughter. She is interested in skin care. Although I think this would have been better when she was slightly younger as she’s 12 now. Do they have anything for teens?

I’m so glad you found these products. It’s super cool that you ran into the owner who is also the engineer of the skincare line. I know its super awesome when you find something that works and that provides opportunities for the kids to do it themselves.

Start up companies are ones I feel I can totally get behind. The fact that they are vegan and cruelty free, as well as look at health no matter the age of the child is really really encouraging. Shows that it isn’t just about making money, but shows they also care.
